Bowling Tours in Torquay
Torquay is renowned as a holiday destination and boasts a number of excellent hotels. It is also a great base for a bowls tour with ten clubs in Torbay and nine other clubs within a 10 mile drive of Torquay town centre.
Our bay is a great place to base your tour, with a vibrant community, picturesque coastline and plenty to keep all of your group entertained.
Travel
For those tourists who either travel to Torquay by car or whose coach does not remain with them for their stay local companies can provide coaches on a daily basis for transport to bowls clubs (parking can be an issue) or for day trips.

Public Transport
Bus Service Route 12 runs between Brixham, Paignton, Torquay and Newton Abbot. Route 22 runs between St. Marychurch, Torquay, Paignton and Paignton Zoo. For the Hospital routes 32A and C start from Torquay Harbour.
For Cockington take a Torbaybus, route 62 www.torbaybuses.co.uk
There are three rail stations in Torbay: Paignton, Torquay and Torre. Local trains go to Newton Abbot, Teignmouth, Dawlish, Dawlish Warren, Starcross and Exeter. From Exeter there are local lines to Exmouth and Barnstaple as well as the main line to Plymouth and beyond.
