Welcome to Torquay Bowling Club

Club website under attack

The Club’s website has ben under attack in recent weeks from 2 groups, one in Turkey and the other in China. It appears they have managed to find the Members Area id’s. Why we are being targeted I don’t know, usually it is to either obtain personal details, to cause damage or lock us out and demand a ransom.

The number of attacks has reduced but is still running at about 400 attempts a day (3 August).

To make it as difficult as possible to them will you please always log out of the members area each time you visit it. If you have left it open please log in and close down the access. This will not stop these attempts but will make it more difficult for them to succeed. Be assured the only personal information held is your email address.

Plus they go together in the Ladies Junior Pairs to Leamington. Ella is also in the quarter-final of the Group A Ladies 2 Wood Singles on 31st July at Paignton.

In the County Fours Liz Lock, Ella Crouch, Natalie Heath and Val Davis lost in the Group B semi-final.

In the Ladies Triples we have a three of Natalie Heath, Val Davis and Ella Crouch lost in the Group B final.

Val Davis, Jane Perrett, Sue Coffield and Liz Lock won through to the semi-final of the Senior Fours when they lost 15 to 18 to Crediton.

Ladies B Team getting back to normal

After successive promotions this year has been a bit more difficult for the Ladies B Team. However after a 10-2 victory over table topping Chudleigh we hope they are getting back to normal.
