Ladies B Team Celebrate Promotion

After a challenging season with several new players, the Ladies B team have secured a well‑deserved promotion.

Team captain Alison Redfern steered the squad through a solid campaign. Early in the season, she found she was often having to juggle line‑ups, but as the season progressed the team settled into regular triples teams, which created balance and consistency on the green.

Alison expressed her gratitude to fellow skips Nicola Hatch and Fiona McGinnes, both new to skipping, who together helped guide the side to some impressive results.

The decisive fixture came at Maldon, where the team needed a full 10 points toprovide the best possible chance of promotion. Facing determined opposition on their home rink, all three triples teams rose to the challenge, and down to the wire on some rinks to secure maximum points and the perfect finish to the season.

The Ladies B team would like to thank their loyal supporters, several of the men travelled regularly to cheer them on. Thanks chaps!
