Welcoming EF Students to the Torquay Bowling Club Family

Torquay Bowling Club is delighted to announce a new addition to our growing family of local supporters: EF Students, part of the global EF Education First network. Their Torquay programme brings young people from around the world to our beautiful bay, giving them the chance to live with local host families, improve their English, and experience life in our community. We’re thrilled to have them alongside us.

EF Students has been a long-standing presence in Torquay, connecting international learners with the warmth, hospitality, and character that define our town. Their work goes far beyond language learning. They help students build confidence, broaden their horizons, and form lifelong memories while also supporting local families who open their homes to welcome them. It’s a partnership between global curiosity and local generosity, and it’s something Torquay should be proud of.

For a community bowling club like ours, support from local organisations makes a real difference. It helps us maintain our greens, invest in equipment, run events, and keep the club thriving for our members. Most importantly, it also strengthens the sense of belonging that sits at the heart of Torquay Bowling Club.
